Joy! The Obamas Travel To My State Florida

The Obamas want to let the country know that the Gulf is okay to return to and spend your tourism dollars.  They will go about doing this by traveling to Panama City in Florida.  I believe this is vacation number seven with vacation number eight coming later in the month.  These people really know how to relax and enjoy the luxurious life on tax payer money.  The interesting thing about this little jaunt to the coast is that the family only plans to be on the ground here for 27 hours.  Just enough time to dip a big toe in the ocean and grab some seafood shipped in from New England.

Libtards are outraged that conservatives have been questioning the vacations and elitist lifestyle of the Obamas.  One such example comes from Black Voices:

Michelle Obama and her daughter Sasha took a trip recently to Spain. Apparently, that now makes them elitist, according to some conservative bloggers and commentators. For some reason, people have a problem with seeing the Obamas living the lifestyle of presidential figures. The Bush family took a multitude of vacations during W.’s time as president, and conservatives didn’t seem to have much to say. In fact, Bush set a record for the number of vacation days taken by a sitting president.

The premise of the story is that, of course, we are just racist.  There is no clarification that most of those trips that the Bushes made were to their home in Crawford, Texas.  I don’t recall President Bush flying the First Lady somewhere just to have an anniversary dinner.  I don’t recall Laura Bush taking a bunch of friends on an extravagant vacation.  And President Bush stopped golfing after the War on Terror started, while President Obama has golfed more than Bush did during his eight years in office and we have not reached the two year mark of the Obama presidency.

I really look forward to having the Obamas here – blech!
