Durban III Conference

The United Nations will be in full session this week and the focus seems to be particularly anti-Israel this year.  That is not much of a change from previous years of course, but this year the Palestinians will be pushing for a state of their own.  And well over a hundred countries are on their side including Norway.  And Imadinahjacket is scheduled to be a speaker at the Durban III Conference.  The conference is scheduled for Thursday September 22nd and has been dubbed the World Conference Against Racism, but really is just a slugfest against Israel. The United Nations Charter declares that it stands for the equality of all men and women and of all nations large and small. But the Durban Conferences conducted by the United Nations treats Israel different.  Anti-semitism runs rampant.  The Durban Conference is named for Durban, South Africa where the initial conference took place in 2001.  For more of a history, here is a great article.

This year a counter conference has been sheduled and will be live streamed by PGTV.   The counter conference has been dubbed “Durban Watch” and will take place across the street from the United Nations.  A host of speakers have been lined up including Gov. Mike Huckabee, John Bolton, Jon Voight, Alan Dershowitz, Dore Gold and Ed Koch.  New Zealand and France have pulled out of the Durban III Conference as well as two other of the five countries on the UN Security Council including the United States.  The goal of Druban III is most likely to convince nations not to negotiate with Israel and continue the onslaught that has been growing against Israel.  The attack on the Israeli Embassy in Egypt and Turkey throwing out Israel’s ambassador have been the most recent actions.

The time is now for the United States to declare our alliance with Israel!
