Minorities have for years followed the Democrat line way of voting. Irregardless of person or policies, they pull the lever for the guy that the mainstream media and fellow minorities have told them is the person they should vote for. This was clearly proven with the election of Barack Obama who garnered 90% of the black vote. Ask most black people why they voted for Obama and they will tell you it was because he was black and this was about history. Had they known that three years later their community would have over 16% unemployment and their children would suffer a 45% unemployment level, would they still have voted for this guy?
And had they known that on Saturday the President would give a fiery speech before the Congressional Black Caucus in which he said, “Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes. Shake it off. Stop complainin’. Stop grumblin’. Stop cryin’. We are going to press on. We have work to do,” would they still pull the lever for their first black president. There is something to be said for history, but when it comes to our economy and the core values of America, was it really worth putting this empty racist suit into office? This half black man just told all you loyal blacks what he thinks of you. I’m outraged for you! Telling blacks to take off their bedroom slippers sounds pretty racist to me. Was the President calling black people lazy? Is he claiming that black people no longer keep the crusade for civil rights? And when are the demands of the citizenry to get employment back on track considered complaining? Will blacks finally wake up, embrace their conservative roots and stop following the bullcrap shoveled their direction by the media and the Democrats?
Maxine Waters was none too happy with the President and said on Sunday, “I found that language a bit curious because the president spoke to the Hispanic Caucus and certainly they are pushing him on immigration and despite the fact that he’s appointed [Justice Sonia] Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, he has an office for excellence in Hispanic education right in the White House, they’re still pushing him and he certainly didn’t tell them to stop complaining.” The language was more than curious. Time for blacks to wake up just as the Jews have with their vote last week in New York that gave a long standing Democrat seat in a heavily Jewish district to a Republican. Barack Obama is an elitist snob who is all about himself and not the American people regardless of your ethnicity, religion, race, gender, orientation and etc.

I think many people found his words a little confusing. He seems to believe he has a group of people that should try to stop the world when he comes calling. A lot is starting to change in politics and minorities looking at other options when it comes to policy is just one of them. If it ever really takes hold, this nation will be in for a change. The problem is getting people to open their eyes when they have been told one thing their whole life. For example, I grew up with a Republican as a father and more than likely a lot of those views sunk into me from a very early age. I remember my father and grandfather (his father-in-law) arguing politics because my grandfather was a life-long union Democrat who worked in the mills in Pittsburgh from the time he got home from the war. They had some good arguments over politics and a lot of that also sunk in when I was younger. My point is when we are brought up in one kind of political thought, it is much harder to believe that anything else is correct.
That does not mean at all that we cannot change our views, because many of us do. We have to find a reason to change our views and if Barack Obama was not a big enough reason for blacks to look in another direction, I do not know what will be.
As long as the mainstream media is pushing a democrat, black will vote democrat. They tend to be followers.
